Nanotechnology for Solar Energy

Online workshop

20 December, 9.30-11.15 GMT (10.30-12.15 CET)

This online workshop on 'Nanotechnology for Solar Energy' enables nanoscientists working in this field to meet and find out about each other's expertise, infrastructure and research interests. The invited speakers include Prof Dr Teketel Yohannes Anshebo, University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Prof Dr Aldo Di Carlo, Associate Professor, University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Italy; Prof Dr Carlo Taliani, ISMN-CNR Bologna Division, Bologna, Italy and Dr Nadia Camaioni, Istituto CNR-ISOF, Bologna, Italy. The prospective audience consists of nanoscientists specialising in solar energy from Europe and International Cooperation Partner Countries to the EU (emerging economies and developing countries).
Participation is free for registered users of the ICPC-NanoNet website (sign up free of charge).

ICPC Nanonet / Institute of Nanotechnology at the Iran Nano Festival 2010

The ICPC Nanonet project was kindly invited by the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council to have a stand at the highly successful Iran Nano Festival 2010, held in Tehran from 25-29th October. The five-day event brought nano to the public and attracted more than 178 entities including institutes, universities, as well as public and private sector companies. In addition, a number of firms and representatives from Austria, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea and the UK also took part in the Festival.
