ICPC-NanoNet, Nanorecht en Vrede, Nanopodium: Register now to hear Malik Maaza, coordinator of NanoAfnet, speak during the online webinar on Nanotechnology for a Knowledge Society in Emerging Economies and Developing Countries, organised by the ICPC-NanoNet and Nano Rights and Peace project on 2 September 2010. There are still some places available for this session and also for the other webinar in this series on 7 September.

UNITAR/OECD/IOMC continue awareness raising nanorisks in developing countries
OECD: UNITAR and OECD are looking for opportunities for capacity building in developing countries and transition countries to address nanotechnology issues. Pilot projects in some countries will be undertaken, funded by the Swiss agency for Development and Cooperation.

Dutch government proposes temporary nano-reference values
Tweede Kamer: Last week, minister Donner of Social Affairs and Employment in the Netherlands informed the Second Chamber of the Parliament about proposed nano-reference values for engineered nanomaterials at work in response to a motion adopted by the Second Chamber on 2 July 2009.
